Hello, my name is Madeline Simms and I graduated from the University of Alabama’s prestigious Creative Writing Program in 2025. For the past four years, I’ve taught first-year composition courses at UA and most recently, Madison College. In addition to composition courses, I’ve lead a number of poetry workshops, both online and in-person. Besides teaching in a classroom setting, my experience includes one-on-one writing coaching, specializing in the application and essay-writing process for college admissions, post-graduate studies and Med-School applications — all with great success! Most importantly, I am dedicated to helping you discover your voice and tell your story.
